The weekend is here and with it we’ve got two tournaments taking place out on the west coast plus a lot of ranked teams will do battle on campus sites across the country. The BNP Paribas Collegiate Challenge is underway in Indian Wells with several interesting first round matches while the San Diego Spring Break Tournament begins its second of three days. I did a preview of the biggest matches for the ITA at this link.

Both the Georgia men’s and women’s teams will face the top ranked team in the country on Friday as the men host Wake Forest while the women visit Florida. Can either of the Dawgs pull the upset or will be an 0 for 2 day?

Texas is coming off the highest of highs after coming back from 3-0 down to defeat #2 Ohio State but they face a formidable foe today when #24 Columbia comes to town. Will they have a let down or will it be business as usual?

Virginia plays its first competitive match in over a month on Saturday when it goes to South Bend to face #37 Notre Dame. The Irish has had success in recent years when welcoming in top 10 teams (Northwestern/North Carolina) – can they do it again or will Virginia roll?

Ohio State will try to rebound from its loss to Texas against a red-hot #11 Texas A&M. The Buckeyes have lost three straight in College Station will it be four or does Ohio State return to its winning ways?

The easiest way to follow all these matches is on my live scoring page which is only available to College Tennis Today subscribers – give yourself a break from searching for all these live scoring links and subscribe today for just $.33 a day!
