Baylor wins easily by taking the doubles point and then picking up singles wins from Tchoutakian, Zsiga, and Rios. Prediction: Baylor 4-0

LSU went 8-8 against ranked teams with its best win over #24 Vanderbilt.
Doubles Records: LSU 18-8, UTSA 18-6
Projected Singles Lineups
Others who could play: Tam Trinh (LSU 13.02)
Tam Trinh is listed at #4 in the lineup but he’s only played twice in the last month (injury?) so I think they probably move 5, 6, and 7 up a spot.
#1 singles – Tomas Stillman went 20-3 on the year with wins over #47 Jeremy Efferding and #99 Peter Nagy while Jordan Daigle went 9-4 with 5 of his last 6 matches going unfinished. Daigle’s best win came over #12 Dominik Koepfer earlier in the year. Prediction: Stillman (UTSA) in 2
#2 singles – Simpson went 14-6 though he dropped 3 of his last 4 while Junger went 9-13 losing his last 4 along the way. Prediction: Simpson (LSU) in 2.
#3 singles – Arias went 15-3 and won 8 of his last 10 while Moreiras went 17-5 winning 3 of his last 4. Prediction: Arias (LSU) in 3
#4 singles – Korinek went 7-9 dropping his last 3 while Rubio went 7-14 losing 5 of his last 6. Prediction: Korinek (LSU) in 2
#5 singles – Butsch went 17-6 splitting his last 6 while Riquelme went 10-8 winning his last 3. Prediction: Butsch (LSU) in 2
#6 singles – Freund went 9-4 dropping 3 of his last 5 while Casa went 10-5 winning his last 9. Prediction: Casa (UTSA) in 3
LSU dropped the doubles point in 5 of its last 6 matches while UTSA won it in its final 4 matches. I think UTSA has a decent shot at stealing the point to grab the early lead. I like Stillman and Casa in singles for the Roadrunners but LSU picks up wins from Simpson, Arias, Korinek, and Butsch to pull it out. Prediction: LSU 4-3
