North Carolina remains at #1 while Ohio State rises up from #4 to #2 after getting the big road win at Oklahoma. TCU stays at #3 while Virginia drops from #2 to #4 with Oklahoma State staying at #5.
Kentucky and Tulane were the biggest movers in the top 25 with Kentucky rising from #22 to #12 while Tulane rose from #35 to #21. NC State came back up 13 spots from #40 to #27 after winning at Wake Forest and SMU went from unranked to #37 after beating both Wichita State and Tulsa last week.
Old Dominion, LSU, Iowa, and Stanford had double-digit drops in inside the top 50.
I noticed three errors with the rankings that will be corrected for next week – Mississippi State’s road win at South Carolina was keyed in as a home win so MSU didn’t get the road bonus. Georgia Tech’s road win at Duke didn’t get keyed in before the deadline so that caused GT to be one spot lower than it would have been plus Duke ended up 7 spots higher than it should have been. The Sunday night match between Virginia and Virginia Tech wasn’t keyed into the system – didn’t effect Virginia but VT would have been 1 spot lower with the loss.
The following teams made double-digit increases versus the last rankings – movement in ( ):
#12 Kentucky (+10)
#21 Tulane (+14)
#27 NC State (+13)
#35 Washington (+10)
#37 SMU (+39)
#39 Virginia Tech (+14)
#53 Cornell (+14)
#57 UC Irvine (+12)
The following teams made double-digit decreases versus the last rankings (still ranked):
#40 Old Dominion (-12)
#43 LSU (-11)
#47 Iowa (-14)
#48 Stanford (-11)
#55 BYU (-11)
#65 UNC Wilmington (-14)
#70 Penn (-11)
These 5 teams entered the rankings after being unranked and here is why they are now ranked
#37 SMU – beat Wichita State and Tulsa
#71 Utah State – beat Pacific
#73 UC Davis – past win over Pacific was improved when Pacific rose 16 spots in the last rankings
#74 Miami FL – beat Florida State
#75 Florida Gulf Coast – past win over St. John’s improved when St. John’s went from unranked to #52 last week.
These 5 teams dropped out of the rankings with last week’s rankings in ( ):
Indiana (58) – lost to Cornell and Princeton
Boise State (71) – past win over Santa Clara was lessened which SC dropped out of the rankings
Arizona (72) – lost to Loyola Marymount and Fresno State
Abilene Christian (74) – its best win over UC Davis was lessened when UCD dropped out
Cal Poly (75) – past win over Portland was lessened when UP dropped out of rankings

| Dominik Koepfer (Tulane) |
Tulane’s Dominik Koepfer is still No. 1 in the singles rankings with the senior from Furtwangen, Germany, a perfect 9-0 in dual-match play and 21-2 overall on the year. 17 of his 23 matches have come against ranked opponents with just the one match against Arizona’s #96 Naoki Takeda going unfinished (Koepfer led 7-6, 2-2).
The ITA’s recap had a good breakdown by conference on both the team and singles/doubles rankings plus make sure you check out the Universal Tennis Rating – American Top 10 which came out last Friday.

They would be top 10 if they had all those guys still. About five of them are currently ranked in singles. Perhaps they realized Starkville isn't quite the metropolis they thought it was when agreeing to go there…ha!
That is a tough one – I don't see anyway Baylor or Texas makes the Big 12 final so your probably looking at TCU vs. Oklahoma/Oklahoma State/Texas Tech. I still think if Andrew Harris gets healthy before the post season that OU will have a chance in the conference tourney. If I had to pick right now I'd say TCU vs. Oklahoma with TCU winning it.

As far as NCAA semifinalists I'd go Virginia, TCU, UCLA, and UNC. I think Ohio State will have trouble with the wind but if they can get a quarterfinal match moved indoors maybe they'd slide in over a UCLA. Texas A&M could get to the semis with the right draw.
Bobby, I know it is difficult to answer now but, I would like your projection for the 4 semi-finalists NCAA men's teams this year, as well as the BIG12 finalists.
I don't know the exact reasons but there has been a revolving door in Starkvegas for a few years. They had the coaching change the season before so maybe the guys were recruited by the old coach and it wasn't what they were expecting or for the guys that left prior maybe they didn't like the old coach or the area. Always tough to know for sure on transfers unless they come out and say something.

Here is the list that have transferred since 2012 and where they went

Romain Bogaerts – Wake Forest
Jordan Angus – San Diego
Stefan Vinti – Cornell
Pedro Dumont – Wake Forest
Egbert Weverink – Utah
Julian Cash – Oklahoma State
Florian Lakat – Cal
Robin Haden – Iowa
Juan Cruz Estevarena – College of Charleston
Bobby do you know why Julian Cash and Florian Lakat transferred out of Miss St? Seems like they could have been a top 20 team if those two stayed.
