It’s Sunday which means we’ve got one more chance this weekend to see some great college tennis action.

There are four top 25 matchups today with the biggest one coming in Chapel Hill as top-ranked North Carolina tries to pick up a second top 10 win of the weekend against No. 6 Wake Forest. North Carolina is coming off a big 4-3 win over No. 3Virginia while Wake pulled out a 4-3 win at No. 45 Virginia Tech. I’m still amazed that UNC won the doubles point after losing 6-0 at No. 3 but I have a feeling that Wake gets the doubles point today. If UNC plays anywhere as good as they did against Virginia they should win it 5-2 or so but I’m expecting another 4-3 match. I’ll take Wake in doubles and Chrysochos and Bogaets in singles but I like Schnur, Clark, Kelly, and Kodali to win for UNC.

Oklahoma, ranked No. 18, finishes up its Florida weekend with a stop in the state capital to face No. 22 Florida State. The Seminoles are coming off a tough 4-3 win at Notre Dame in a match where Ben Lock won the decider 7-6 in the third while the Sooners are coming off a 4-1 win at No. 17 South Florida. Florida State will win a few courts and will probably take the doubles point but OU pulls it out 4-3.

Two of the top teams in the AAC will tangle in the Big Easy as No. 23 Tulane hosts No. 24 Tulsa. The Green Wave are coming off a 4-1 mid-week win over Brown while the Golden Hurricane upset No. 8 Oklahoma State 4-1 on Friday night.  The winner of this match should move into the top 20 and will become the highest ranked team in the conference after South Florida got tripped up on Saturday by SMU. If this match were in Tulsa I’d give them more of a chance but I don’t see Tulane losing at home – Green Wave 4-2.

Arkansas, ranked No. 14, got all it wanted in T-Town on Friday night before pulling out a 4-3 win over Alabama while No. 25 Mississippi State lost a close one 4-3 at Ole Miss. The Razorbacks are the stronger team though MSU will keep it close – Hogs 5-2.

Some other matches to keep an eye on are Wisconsin at Illinois, Alabama at Ole Miss, Georgia at LSU, and East Tennessee State at UNC Wilmington.
