The first major of the year gets started on Saturday with the Saint Francis Health System Men’s All-American Championships taking place in Tulsa while the Riviera Women’s All-American Championships gets going in Pacific Palisades.

The Men’s All-Americans will have an open pre-qualifying draw that runs Saturday and Sunday with 16 advancing to the qualifying draw (draw out on Friday). The 128 player qualifying draw takes place on Monday and Tuesday with 16 advancing to the 64 player main draw.  The guys take Wednesday off and then the main draw runs from Thursday through Monday. For information about the selection criteria, schedule, and how wild cards are distributed click here. The list of players expected to play is listed at the ITA’s tournament page.

The Women’s All-Americans will have a 64 person pre-qualifying draw that runs Saturday and Sunday (draws out Friday) with 8 advancing to the qualifying draw. After a day off on Monday, the 64 player qualifying draw takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday with 8 advancing to the 64 player main draw which runs Thursday through Sunday. Last year’s champions:
Mens Singles – Thai-Son Kwiatkowski (Virginia)
Mens Doubles – Thai-Son Kwiatkowski/Mac Styslinger (Virginia)
Women’s Singles – Danielle Collins (Virginia)
Women’s Doubles – Maegan Manasse/Denise Starr (Cal)

I’ll have a UTR analysis of the qualifying and main draws once they are released so be on the lookout for those either Sunday or Monday.

FloTennis will have a live stream of all men’s and women’s main draw matches while you can also see a live stream of men’s pre-qualifying and qualifying through Tulsa’s site. There will be no live stream of women’s pre-q’s and q’s.

Due to the number of players participating in the All-Americans there won’t be as many fall tournaments taking place this week as compared to last week. I haven’t seen any draws for these other tournaments posted yet but I’ll update my Fall Tournament Hub once I do.
