The last weekend of fall tournament play has seen Baylor put on a show out in California as the Bears locked up all four semifinal spots at the Jack Kramer Collegiate Invitational. The only tournament on the East Coast saw a tidal wave knock out most of the top seeds at the Wake Forest Fall Invite with names like Uspensky and Manji falling early. Oregon went a perfect 8-0 in singles at the Duck Invitational while the Rice women dominated the opening day at the LSU Fall Classic. Idaho and Oregon each had the upper hand on Day 1 of the Gonzaga Invitational with the Vandals and the Ducks each winning four of six singles matches while NC State went 4-0 in singles on Day 1 of the UNLV Rebel Invitational.
