def. #57 Jessie Aney (North Carolina) 6-3, 6-2
#16 Jared Hiltzik (Illinois) vs. #27 Petros Chrysochos (Wake Forest)
#28 Kennedy Shaffer (Georgia) vs. #104 Katherine Ip (Rice)
#2 [2] Danielle Collins (Virginia) vs. #33 Arianne Hartono (Ole Miss)
Men’s seeds went 5-3 on the day though two of the top four went out as Virginia’s Luca Corinteli/Ryan Shane and Alabama’s Korey Lovett/Mazen Osama were both defeated. When there are only 32 teams in the draw there aren’t any pushovers but if you are a top 8 seed you wouldn’t expect to see another top 10 team in the opening round like Luca Corinteli and Ryan Shane faced.

Whoa, how can anyone be offended by poo tennis? It's frat boy humor and harmless. I'm sure Colette finds it a compliment and a riot, I would if I were her, it's flattering to be satired. C'mon people, lighten up! We don't live in Pleasantville anymore! I think the only ones who could be offended are the players not popular enough to be known or covered, they all want in there! The NCAA coverage was so good. Thanks for the work you put in Bobby, it is helping the game! Some of the best PT stuff was when you were the target! You, the giant spider, paying off refs, and the UVA twitter account. Classic commentary! Keep it coming both of you!
Might want to avoid Monday night football if poo tennis is too brutal. It's supposed to be funny and it is hilarious. Btw I'm a female college player and we love it! But that's because players aren't snowflakes!
Poo tennis is highly disrespectful and foul-mouthed. I was told to follow him/her by a parent of a player who plays college tennis and I was appalled by the content. The disrespect to women, the language and the disrespect to a great tennis writer curled my stomach.
Two things required to get the most of NCAAs:

1) Link to College Tennis Today
2) Link to Poo Tennis

Great stuff.
There was an incident with a tennis player back in late August, who is no longer on the team or a student-athlete at Baylor, and he was immediately removed from team/individual competition. From what I've read about the incident everything was handled by the book.

I figured this topic would come up so that's why I let this one comment come through so I could comment on it which I have now done.

I don't want this comment section to turn into anonymous mudslinging so unless there is hard proof about a topic/individual/program I won't be publishing those comments. I push through about 99% of the comments that I receive but there are the 1% that cross the line.

I will gladly push through any comment that offers constructive feedback about a topic, team, or an individual but when it gets personal that's when I draw the line. I can tell you that many coaches, players, parents, etc. read these comments so don't type something that you wouldn't say to someone's face. If you are willing to put your full name behind the comment and I deem it to be reasonable then I'll post it.

There are plenty of message boards out there where you can type whatever you want but this isn't that place. For the time being I'll still permit anonymous comments but going forward let's keep it clean enough so everyone can enjoy this site.

If Art Briles is gone then why isn't Knoll also gone? Did't he cover up stuff too?
