For the second time this week No. 2 Ohio State came up short in the state of Texas after No. 11 Texas A&M rallied to win 4-3.Ohio State jumped out to the early 1-0 lead after claiming the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. Ohio State’s No. 1 team of Mikael Torpegaard and Herkko Pollanen broke for 2-1 and then they’d break again for 5-2 and would serve it out for 6-2. Saturday was a busy day out west with USC and Baylor advancing to the finals of the BNP Paribas Open Collegiate Tennis Challenge while Oregon defeated Tulane to win the San Diego Spring Break Tournament. Virginia played its first competitive match in a month and dominated Notre Dame in South Bend. #1 Wake Forest Survives Against Georgia; Georgia Women Roll Over #1 Florida; Texas Fight Too Much For Columbia

It was almost a great day to be a Georgia Bulldog but it ended up being just a good day after the Georgia women rocked No. 1 Florida while the Georgia men fell just short against No. 1 Wake Forest. In the men’s match, Wake Forest jumped out to the early break lead at No. 2 doubles when Borna Gojo and Alan Gadjiev broke Georgia’s Nathan Ponwith and Emil Reinberg to go up 1-0 but Georgia broke back on the no-ad point for 1-1. The weekend is here and with it we’ve got two tournaments taking place out on the west coast plus a lot of ranked teams will do battle on campus sites across the country. The BNP Paribas Collegiate Challenge is underway in Indian Wells with several interesting first round matches while the San Diego Spring Break Tournament begins its second of three days. South Carolina Surges Past Arkansas, Busy Day in SEC, UCLA & TCU Win, San Diego Spring Break Tournament Results

Thursday was a busy day in the SEC with eight teams in action since the conference is playing on Thursday and Saturday this week. Three of the four matches saw the road team pick up a win while No. 17 Kentucky was the only team to win at home. TCU finished off its West Coast trip with another win while just down the road UCLA knocked off Duke. South Carolina rallied from a 3-1 deficit on the road to defeat Arkansas 4-3.
