It was a great Easter weekend of Pac-12 men’s tennis with several close dramatic matches and important results for NCAA tournament positioning. SEC Weekend Preview 3/30 – 4/1

Texas A&M and Mississippi State remain atop the men’s conference standings with 6-0 records after each posted a pair of wins last weekend. Both teams will get serious tests this weekend as they both face a couple of top 25 teams on the road. A&M will visit Vanderbilt and Kentucky while Mississippi State will visit Georgia and Tennessee. While those are the marquee conference matchups there is one huge non-conference matchup this week when Florida visits #1 Wake Forest. ACC Women’s Preview 3/29 – 4/1

We start the weekend off on Thursday with a bang with two huge match-ups; North Carolina at Wake Forest and Florida State at Duke. North Carolina lost to a hot Georgia Tech last weekend but held on to the No. 1 ranking but will be severely tested in Winston Salem against a very strong Wake Forest squad. I have to apologize to the ladies for the delay in getting the weekend roundup out for them. Big 12 conference play draws nearIt is the last week of non-conference play for the six Big XII teams. All six teams are currently riding win streaks, with no one hotter than TCU. Having won 6 straight matches, they find themselves the highest ranked Big XII team, coming in at #8.
