Post-Match Quotes from Tulane’s recap
“What a great effort from our guys,” Tulane men’s tennis head coach Mark Booras stated. “To beat an in-state rival like this, especially a SEC team with so much experience. To beat them 4-2 after dropping the doubles point showed a lot of character from our guys. Just so proud of how they fought today.”
“Sebastian showed so much heart today,” Booras added. “Just shows how gritty he is and how hungry he is to be successful and to push this team towards greatness. Proud that he was able to put himself in that position and really go after his game to get things done.”
Post-Match Quotes from LSU’s recap
“It started very intense with a very good doubles point and it ended intense with the three setters going on the last three courts, said Head Coach Jeff Brown. “They were just a little better than we were.
“Jordan did well although Koepfer got away from him in the third set, Head Coach Jeff Brown said. “He gave himself a chance to get to that third set against a guy that’s been dominating everyone. Jordan played at a really high level and, going forward, this is a match he will get a lot out of.
