Battle in the Bay, Cajun Classic, Southern Intercollegiates, Bedford Cup, & More

Seeds rolled through the opening day of the Battle in the Bay Classic in San Francisco with 7 of the top 8 advancing to the Round of 16. The only seeded loser was Pepperdine’s Pedro Iamachkine who fell to San Francisco’s Johan Jonhagen 7-6, 6-4. 10 of the top 16 seeds moved into the Round of 16 at the Southern Intercollegiates with another seed (Tchoutakian) still having to play his R32 match on Saturday.
