Rutgers Director of Athletics Patrick Hobbs announced that Hilary Ritchie had been elevated from acting women’s head coach to full-time head coach. New Mexico VP of Athletics Paul Krebs named Stephanie Wooten-Quijada as the Lobo’s new women’s coach. Wooten-Quijada, a 2009 Purdue graduate, resigned as the women’s coach at UTRGV on July 24 after leading the program to an 11-11 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
