What a crazy day it was on Sunday with not one, not two, but three regional hosts going down. The day started off in College Station with the resumption of Saturday’s match between Texas A&M and Texas and it finished in Lubbock with SMU kicking the door down and stunning Texas Tech.When the season started if you told me that Texas would be in Tulsa for the NCAA Round of 16 I would have told you to go see a doctor. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in Memphis with blue skies paving the way for a pair of action packed semifinals that were played simultaneously with a 9 a.m. central start. All 12 courts were available on Saturday after only having 10 available on Friday due to a crack near the center line on court 1.The top-seed South Florida faced the No. 4 seed Tulane in one of the semifinals. South Florida had to feel fairly confident coming into the match because they just beat Tulane 5-2 less than two weeks ago in a match that was played at Tulane.It looked like South Florida was going to run away with the doubles point but the Bulls would have trouble closing it...

It was an extremely long day of tennis in Columbia, South Carolina, as rain pushed the schedule at the SEC Tournament back significantly and ultimately shifted play indoors. Sunday was a tremendous day for college tennis with five matches broadcast on National TV. The day started off with Fox College Sports Pacific/Fox Sport Oklahoma showing the Oklahoma/Kansas women’s match. Then you had Fox Sports 2 showing a doubleheader in Stillwater with the Oklahoma State women hosting TCU while the Oklahoma State men hosted Baylor. Lastly you had the Pac-12 Network showing a UCLA/USC doubleheader with the men playing first and then the women second.Despite these matches being on television the stands were packed and the crowds were loud which made for a great environment for those of us that watched from home.
