The latest Oracle/ITA women’s singles and doubles rankings came out on Tuesday and I’ve got your full breakdown down below.  Ohio State sophomore Francesca Di Lorenzo remains at the top spot in the singles rankings while North Carolina senior Hayley Carter and UCLA freshman Ena Shibahara swapped spots at No. 2 and No. 3 with Carter at No. 2. North Carolina freshman Sara Daavettila and Vanderbilt junior Astra Sharma remain at No. 4 to No. 5.

There is a new doubles No. 1 with North Carolina’s Hayley Carter and Jessie Aney rising two spots from No. 3 to No. 1 while Michigan’s Kate Fahey and Alex Najarian  who were last week’s No. 1 dropped down to No. 2. Pepperdine’s Christine Maddox and Mayar Sherif Ahmed dropped one spot to No. 3, UCLA’s Jada Hart and Ena Shibahara remain at No. 4, and Kentucky’s Aldila Sutjiadi and Mami Adachi remain at No. 5.

In my breakdown below I found it interesting that 122 of the 125 ranked singles players came from the same nine conferences with the Big Ten the lightest of the Power 5 conferences with just 10.

If comparing Universal Tennis Rating to the ITA rankings the biggest outliers from the top 10 are North Carolina’s Hayley Carter who is the ITA No. 2 but No. 30 in UTR while Vanderbilt’s Sydney Campbell is the ITA No. 8 but UTR No. 42.

Normally I have this content behind the paywall but I wanted to show everyone that hasn’t subscribed yet what I’ve been doing with each set of rankings. If this is something you like then jump on board and subscribe today so you can see it and other interesting things that you won’t find anywhere else.
