Cameron Norrie ran his winning streak to 10 after winning a second straight $100K Challenger with this one coming in Stockton, California. Norrie only dropped four games in his finals win over Darian King which earned the former TCU star a $14,400 paycheck plus 90 ATP ranking points. Norrie’s biggest comeback of the week came against Brydan Klein in the second round. Norrie was down a set and a break at 6-4, 4-3 but he managed to take the second set in a tiebreak and then he pulled away in the third set. Norrie, who now has a new career high ranking of 111, talked to Mike Cation after the match with that conversation available at this link.

Andrew Harris won his first pro title since 2013 with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Jason Kubler in the final of the Australia F6 Futures in Toowoomba. Harris won three of his matches in three sets with his biggest comeback occurring in the semifinals when he rallied from a 5-1 third set deficit to defeat Maverick Banes 2-6, 6-4, 7-6(3). Harris picked up 27 ATP points with the win and when those are added in next week his ranking should jump to around 550 (CH 483).

Joao Monteiro won his fifth singles of the year after a 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win over Raphael Baltensperger in the finals of the Portugal F21 Futures in Termas de Monfortinho. Monteiro was pushed all week long with all but one of his matches going three sets. Monteiro entered this week with a new career high ranking of 269 but once these 18 points are added in he’ll rise to another career high of around 248.
